Welcome to Little Beats Dayclub (“we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by 1000927661 Ontario Inc. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, sign up for updates, purchase tickets, attend our events, or otherwise interact with us.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact and interest information: first name, email address, metropolitan area/city, and ages/number of kids, when you sign up for event updates.
- Ticket purchase information: name, email, and billing information, collected through our ticketing partner, TicketSpice, when you buy tickets. We do not store your payment card details, these are handled directly by TicketSpice and its payment processor.
- Terms agreement: your agreement to our Terms of Service, given at checkout when you purchase tickets, covering yourself and everyone included in your order.
- Inquiry information: name, email, and any details you share with us through our General Inquiries, Partnerships, or Parent Ambassador forms.
- Event imagery: your image and likeness may be captured through photography or videography while attending the event.
- Incident and first aid information: if you or a member of your Party receives first aid or is involved in an incident at the event, we may record details including names, contact information and the nature of any injury or treatment.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to:
- Notify you about event announcements, launch dates, and ticket presales.
- Process ticket purchases and manage entry to our events.
- Verify agreement to our Terms of Service and manage liability for event attendance.
- Respond to general inquiries, partnership requests, and Parent Ambassador applications.
- Understand site usage and improve our marketing, using cookies and similar tracking technologies.
- Use event photography and videography in future marketing, including on our website and social channels.
- Respond to and document incidents, and manage insurance and legal claims.
Data Sharing & Protection
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate our website, sell tickets and manage communications, including TicketSpice and Typeform, and with our insurers and legal advisors where needed to manage claims. Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of those countries, including access by authorities. We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure.
Children’s Information
Little Beats Dayclub is a family event, and some of the information we collect relates to children attending with their parent or guardian, including ages provided at sign-up and images captured at the event. This information is provided by, or collected with the consent of, the parent or guardian. We use children’s information to manage event entry and safety, and event imagery in our marketing as described in Section 03. Parents or guardians may request removal of a specific image of their child by emailing hello@littlebeatsdayclub.com.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, generally up to 24 months after your last interaction with us, with these exceptions: records of agreement to our Terms of Service, ticket records and incident or first aid reports are kept until applicable legal limitation periods expire, which for claims involving minors can extend well past a child’s 18th birthday; and event photography and video used in our marketing may be retained indefinitely.
Your Rights & Choices
You can opt out of receiving email communications from us at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any email we send. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at hello@littlebeatsdayclub.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
